브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= DL이앤씨와 손을 잡은 글로벌 건축·엔지니어링·컨설팅 그룹 ‘아르카디스(Arcadis)’의 주요 담당자들이 ‘압구정5구역 재건축정비사업’ 현장을 찾아 설계안을 최종 점검했다.
DL이앤씨는 지난 17일 아르카디스의 브렛 위긴스(Bret Wiggins) 부사장과 배수훈(Suhoon Bae) 부사장, 앤서니 스톤(Anthony Stone) 수석 디자이너 등이 방한해 서울 강남구 압구정5구역 현장을 찾았다고 밝혔다.
네덜란드에 본사를 둔 아르카디스는 전 세계 30여개국에서 도시 개발과 주거, 상업, 복합개발 프로젝트를 수행해 왔다. 아랍에미리트 ‘로열 아틀란티스 호텔&레지던스’와 미국 로스앤젤레스 ‘포시즌스 프라이빗 레지던스’ 등 대규모 도시형 주거 단지부터 하이엔드 레지던스에 이르기까지 폭넓은 실적을 보유했다.

아르카디스의 이번 방문은 DL이앤씨 임원진과 함께 압구정5구역 조합원의 기대를 완벽하게 반영하고, 시간이 지나도 변치 않는 하이엔드 주거의 본질에 집중한 설계안을 더욱 공고히 하기 위해 이뤄졌다. 이날 아르카디스 측은 압구정5구역 현장의 지형과 한강과의 연계성, 그리고 주변 인프라를 확인하며 최종 점검했다.
