【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시 평생학습관은 충청북도가 주관한 ‘2026년 평생교육 프로그램 공모사업’에 최종 선정돼 도비 2,500만 원을 확보하고 가족 단위 참여형 평생학습 프로그램을 운영한다고 20일 밝혔다.
이번 공모사업은 도민의 생애주기 전반에 걸친 평생학습 기회를 확대하고, 지역 특성을 반영한 다양한 프로그램을 통해 지속 가능한 평생학습 사회를 구현하기 위해 마련됐다.
시는 이번 사업으로 ‘우리 가족 평생학습 성장 로그(Log): 다시 쓰고, 배우고, 맛보는 시간’ 프로그램을 오는 6월부터 10월까지 충주시 평생학습관 본관과 지현문화플랫폼에서 추진한다.
프로그램은 가족이 함께 참여하고 성장할 수 있는 생활 밀착형 평생학습으로 구성됐으며, 지역 전문기관과 단체와 협업해 전문성을 강화했다.
주요 프로그램은 업사이클링 분야 ‘가족 업-로그(Up-Log)’, AI 기술 분야 ‘세이브-로그(Save-Log)’, 요리·베이킹 분야 ‘라이프-로그(Life-Log)’ 등 3개로 나뉜다.
특히 헌 옷과 폐현수막을 활용한 담요·가방 제작, 폐가구를 활용한 벤치 만들기 등 업사이클링 활동과 가족 AI 앨범 제작, 로컬푸드 기반 요리 프로그램 등은 환경, 기술, 생활이 결합된 미래형 평생학습 모델로 주목받고 있다.
아울러, 프로그램을 통해 제작된 결과물은 지역사회에 기부되며, 성과공유회를 통해 시민들과 나눔의 가치를 확산할 계획이다.
