[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시의회 예산결산특별위원회는 20일 2026년도 제1회 추가경정예산안을 심사하고 수정 의결했다.
이번 추경예산 규모는 당초 예산 17조9311억원보다 2813억원, 1.6% 늘어난 18조2124억원이다. 예결특위는 부산시가 제출한 예산안을 원안대로 승인했다.
세출 부문에서는 일부 사업 예산을 조정했다. 시장정비사업 컨설팅 4억원, 2026 대한민국연극제 in 부산 지원 1억원, 루프 랩 부산 등 전시 특별전 관련 1억5000만원을 삭감했다. 반면 착한가격업소 지정표찰 제작 2000만원, 해외마케팅 지원 8000만원, 연구개발장비 공동활용 1억원, 시체육회 사업지원 1억1700만원, 국내관광 활성화 1억원, 시청사 청사환경 개선 용역 3300만원은 증액했다. 삭감과 증액에 따른 잔액은 예비비로 편성했다.
특별회계에서는 상수도관 신설 예산 1000만원을 감액했고, 기금운용계획 변경안은 원안대로 의결했다.
조상진 예결특위 위원장은 “재정 여건이 어려운 만큼 불요불급하거나 타당성이 부족한 사업은 엄정히 심사했다”며 “이번 예산이 민생 안정과 지역경제 회복에 실질적으로 기여할 수 있도록 신속하고 효율적인 집행을 당부한다”고 말했다.
이번 추경예산안과 기금운용계획 변경안은 오는 24일 열리는 제334회 임시회 본회의에서 최종 확정될 예정이다.

Busan City Council's Budget and Accounts Special Committee approved the city's first supplementary budget request for 2026 on March 20.
The 2026 first supplementary budget totals 18.2124 trillion won, up 281.3 billion won or 1.6% from the original 17.9311 trillion won budget. The committee passed the city's proposal without changes to the overall amount.
In general account expenditures, the committee cut 400 million won from market reorganization consulting, 100 million won from the 2026 Korea Theater Festival in Busan, and 150 million won from Loop Lab Busan exhibitions and forums. It added 20 million won for good-price restaurant signage, 80 million won for overseas marketing, 100 million won for R&D equipment sharing, 117 million won for the city sports council, 100 million won for domestic tourism promotion, and 33 million won for city hall environmental improvements. Net adjustments went to contingency reserves.
The special account saw a 10 million won cut for new water pipe installation, with the balance to reserves. The 2026 fund management plan change passed as proposed.
Committee Chair Jo Sang-jin said limited fiscal conditions required strict review of unnecessary or poorly justified projects. He urged swift, efficient execution to support citizens facing high energy costs and inflation, aiding economic recovery and a vibrant city.
The budget and fund plan face final approval at the March 24 plenary session of the 334th temporary council meeting.
