<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천 지역 미래 꿈나무들의 든든한 울타리를 만들기 위해 두 복지 기관이 두 팔을 걷어붙였다.
포천시종합사회복지관은 지난 20일 한마음지역아동센터와 손잡고 '지역밀착형 복지사업 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)'을 맺었다고 23일 밝혔다.
이번 맞손은 지역사회 아동·청소년을 위한 복지 파이를 키우고, 그늘진 복지 사각지대를 선제적으로 발굴해 탄탄한 통합지원 체계를 가동하기 위해 추진됐다. 두 기관은 이번 협약을 발판 삼아 쉴 새 없이 변하는 아동 복지 수요에 발 빠르게 대응하고, 탁상공론이 아닌 현장 밀착형 서비스를 대폭 확대해 나갈 청사진을 그렸다.
특히 양 기관은 단순한 서면 협약을 넘어, 아이들이 피부로 체감할 수 있는 톡톡 튀는 공동 프로그램을 직접 기획하고 운영하며 끈끈한 공조 체제를 이어갈 예정이다.
허명숙 한마음지역아동센터 센터장은 "포천시종합사회복지관이라는 든든한 파트너와 함께 아이들을 위한 다채로운 그림을 그릴 수 있게 돼 감회가 새롭다"며 "지역의 보물인 아이들이 티 없이 건강하게 자랄 수 있도록 모든 역량을 쏟아붓겠다"고 전했다.
김상진 포천시종합사회복지관 관장 역시 "한마음지역아동센터와의 시너지를 통해 아동·청소년 복지 전선이 한층 견고해질 것으로 기대한다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회와 톱니바퀴처럼 맞물려 빈틈없는 맞춤형 복지를 실현하겠다"고 화답했다.
