브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨은 23일 자사 인기 온라인게임 ‘메이플스토리’에 방탄소년단 진 컬래버레이션 이벤트를 적용했다고 밝혔다.
2022년 진행한 ‘출근용사 김석진’에 이어 ‘출근용사 김석진 리턴즈’로 선보이는 이번 두 번째 컬래버는 진이 직접 ‘메이플스토리’의 서비스 23주년을 기념하는 게임 이벤트와 아이템 등을 기획하는 구성으로 진행한다.
기획 회의에 참여하고 NPC 진의 목소리를 직접 녹음하는 등 출근용사 진의 다채로운 모습을 담은 영상은 총 네 차례에 걸쳐 ‘메이플스토리’ 공식 홈페이지와 유튜브 채널에 공개한다.
이번 업데이트로 오는 5월 13일까지 진행하는 컬래버 이벤트 ‘진의 신비한 정원’을 시작한다. 성장 비료를 모아 NPC 진이 발견한 특별 모종을 성장시키는 이벤트로, 260~284레벨 캐릭터로 사용 시 즉시 1레벨이 상승하는 신규 아이템 ‘진 하이퍼 성장의 비약’, 200~259레벨 캐릭터로 사용 시 즉시 최대 10레벨까지 상승하는 신규 아이템 ‘진 익스트림 성장의 비약’, ‘상급 EXP 교환권’ 등의 풍성한 보상을 획득할 수 있다.
