【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북교육청은 23일, NH농협은행 충북본부와 충북교육청 소속 학교 및 기관의 충북교육사랑카드 사용에 따라 조성된 적립금 전달식을 가졌다.
이날 전달식에는 윤건영 교육감과 이봉주 NH농협은행 충북본부장 등 8명이 참석했다.
충북교육청과 NH농협은행 충북본부는 학생복지 증진을 위해 2003년부터 신용카드 이용 협약을 체결하고, 매년 충북교육사랑카드 사용금액의 0.6%~1%를 학생복지 기금으로 적립해 오고 있다.
올해 조성된 금액은 10억 214만 원으로 ▲난치병 치료비 지원 5,000만 원 ▲우수인재 육성 지원 1억 6,560만 원 ▲위탁·소년소녀가장·조손·한부모·다문화가정 등 소외계층 지원 7억 8,654만 원 등 학생복지사업에 전액 사용될 예정이다. 누적 적립액은 113억 6천여만 원에 달한다.
이봉주 NH농협은행 충북본부장은 “충북교육청의 적극적인 충북교육사랑카드 사용으로 의미 있는 적립기금을 조성할 수 있었다.”라며 “앞으로도 금고기관으로서 역할을 충실히 수행하며 충북 교육 발전을 위해 적극 협력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
윤건영 교육감은 “충북교육사랑카드 사용 활성화를 통해 학생복지사업을 확대해 나가겠다.”라며 “어려운 가정환경에 있는 학생들을 더욱 촘촘하게 지원해 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 하겠다.”라고 말했다. 이어 “학생들을 위해 아낌없는 지원을 이어온 NH농협은행 충북본부에 깊이 감사드린다.”라고 덧붙였다.
