【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평에서 열린 ‘제2회 증평인삼배 족구대회’가 전국 족구 동호인들의 참여 속에 성황리에 막을 내렸다.
충청북도족구협회와 증평군족구협회가 주관하고 증평군이 후원한 이번 대회는 지난 21일부터 22일까지 이틀간 보강천 체육공원 축구전용구장에서 개최됐다.
대회에는 남양주와 시흥, 순천 등 전국 각지에서 모인 87개 팀, 800여 명의 선수들이 참가해 수준 높은 경기를 펼쳤다.
선수단과 함께 임원, 가족 등 방문객도 대거 증평을 찾으면서 지역에 활기를 더했다는 평가다.
대회 결과 △초청일반부 아산성진건설팀 △초청40대부 남양주나이스팀 △충북·중장년부 명문팀 △충북관내1부 진재(흥)팀 △충북관내2부 드림파워A팀 △충북일반부 생거진천런팀 △증평관내부 우리족구(청)팀이 각각 우승을 차지했다.
이재영 군수는 “전국 각지에서 찾아오신 분들로 대회 기간 우리군이 활력이 넘쳤다”며 “앞으로도 증평인삼배 족구대회를 통해 많은 분들이 우리군을 방문할 수 있도록 지속적으로 개최해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
