세종시의회가 23일 제104회 임시회 제3차 본회의를 끝으로 제4대 의회의 공식적인 회기 일정을 모두 마무리했다.
폐회사에서 임채성 의장은 “제4대 의회는 임기 동안 총 1,090여 건의 조례 제·개정과 활발한 정책 제안을 통해 시민의 뜻을 시정과 교육행정에 담아내고자 최선을 다했다”며, “때로는 견해차로 어려움도 있었으나, 집행부와 의회가 시민의 행복이라는 공동 목표를 향해 협력하며 민주적인 대안을 찾아온 의미 있는 시간이었다”고 말했다.
임 의장은 “시민의 행복을 위해 함께 달려온 집행부와 의회 사무처 공직자 여러분의 헌신과 노고에 깊은 경의와 감사를 표한다”며, “제4대 의회는 시민과 함께한 시간을 가슴에 새기며, 남은 임기가 끝날 때까지 행정수도 완성을 위한 책임과 소명을 다하겠다”라고 강조했다.
이날 본회의에서는 최원석·안신일·유인호·김현미·김효숙·박란희 총 6명의 의원이 5분 자유발언과, 김광운 의원이 대표발의한 ‘세종시 공공시설물 재원 분담률 개선 및 유지관리비 부담 완화 촉구 건의안’이 채택됐다.
아울러 조례안, 동의안, 특별위원회 활동결과보고서 채택의 건 등 지역 현안 및 시민의 삶의 질 향상과 직결된 총 46개 안건을 심의, 의결했다.
