충남도가 양자 기술 도입으로 지역 산업 경쟁력 강화를 목표로 23일 '충남 양자산업 육성 기업 세미나'를 개최했다.
충남창업마루나비에서 열린 행사엔 도·시군 공무원, 양자 수요·공급 기업 관계자, 산학연 전문가 등 40여 명이 모였다. 정부 양자클러스터 공모 동향 설명과 충남 양자 기술 추진사업 소개, 질의응답 순으로 진행됐다.
배승환 한국생산기술연구원 연구원은 양자센싱 기반 라이다 센서 실증사업을, 정근홍 서강대 교수는 양자초분광 화학 독극물 탐지 기술을 발표했다. 이어 쿼드의 초전도 단광자 검출기(SNSPD), 스펙트라코어의 스펙트럼 분석 양자센싱 등 기업 기술도 공유됐다.
충남도는 (가칭)충남 양자허브센터 설립으로 생태계를 조성하고, 하반기 양자포럼과 7월 퀀텀코리아 전시관 운영을 통해 협력망을 넓힐 계획이다. 시군·기업 발굴로 공모 참여를 독려하며 충남형 클러스터 유치를 집중 지원한다.
충남도 관계자는 "반도체·디스플레이 등 제조 강세 지역 특성을 살려 양자센싱 적용으로 QX 전환을 돕겠다"고 밝혔다.

South Chungcheong Province Accelerates Establishment of Quantum Industry Ecosystem
South Chungcheong Province held the "Chungnam Quantum Industry Development Enterprise Seminar" on the 23rd, aiming to strengthen regional industrial competitiveness through the introduction of quantum technology.
The event, held at Chungnam Startup Maru Nabi, was attended by approximately 40 people, including provincial and municipal officials, representatives from quantum supply and demand companies, and experts from industry, academia, and research institutes. The session proceeded with an explanation of the government's quantum cluster application trends, an introduction to South Chungcheong's quantum technology initiatives, and a Q&A session.
Researcher Bae Seung-hwan of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology presented a demonstration project for quantum sensing-based LiDAR sensors, while Professor Jeong Geun-hong of Sogang University presented quantum hyperspectral chemical toxicity detection technology. Subsequently, corporate technologies were shared, including Quad's superconducting single-photon detector (SNSPD) and SpectraCore's spectrum analysis quantum sensing.
South Chungcheong Province plans to foster an ecosystem by establishing the (tentative) Chungnam Quantum Hub Center and expand its network of cooperation through the Quantum Forum in the second half of the year and the operation of the Quantum Korea exhibition hall in July. The province is encouraging participation in the competition by identifying cities, counties, and companies, and is providing intensive support for attracting Chungnam-type clusters.
An official from Chungnam Province stated, "We will help facilitate the transition to QX by applying quantum sensing, leveraging the region's strengths in manufacturing, such as semiconductors and displays."
