이상길 예비후보는 지난 21일 선거사무소에서 지지자와 자원봉사자들과 함께 ‘투명하고 공정한 선거 실천을 위한 다짐과 약속’ 행사를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 선거 경쟁이 치열해지는 가운데 네거티브와 구태의연한 선거 방식을 지양하고, 정책과 비전 중심의 ‘클린 선거’ 가치를 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 참석자들은 ▲선거법 준수를 통한 투명한 선거운동 ▲근거 없는 비방 및 허위사실 유포 근절 ▲공정한 경쟁을 통한 정책 중심 선거 지향 등을 다짐했다.

한편 캠프 측은 이번 다짐을 계기로 혼탁 선거를 사전에 방지하고, 구민 중심의 건강한 선거 문화 확산에 주력할 방침이다.
