논산딸기축제를 앞두고 백성현 논산시장이 현장을 직접 찾아 축제 준비 상황을 꼼꼼히 살폈다. 이번 점검에는 국·소실장과 관련 부서장들이 함께 참여해 행사 전반의 안전과 운영 상태를 집중적으로 확인했다.

논산시는 축제 하루 전인 오는 25일, 행정안전부와 충청남도, 경찰서, 소방서, 전기·가스안전공사, 안전관리자문단 등 관계기관과 합동으로 축제장 전역을 점검할 계획이다.
논산시는 합동 점검 결과를 바탕으로 미비한 부분은 즉시 보완해, 시민과 관광객 모두가 안심하고 즐길 수 있는 축제를 만들겠다는 방침이다.
