[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 올해부터 거창형 청소년 수당인 '거창군 청소년 꿈키움 바우처 지원사업'을 초등학생 2학년에 해당하는 8세부터 지원하도록 확대 시행한다고 24일 밝혔다.
이에 오는 27일 5300여명의 대상자에게 바우처 포인트를 지급할 계획이다.
거창군 청소년 꿈키움 바우처는 청소년들의 역량강화와 여가문화 지원을 위해 거창군에서 자체적으로 추진하는 사업으로 2023년부터 거창군에 주소를 둔 13~18세 청소년에게 관내 가맹점에서 사용가능한 바우처를 지원해 왔다.
8세부터 12세까지 청소년에게 연 20만원이 신규 지원되며 13세부터 15세 청소년에게는 연 40만원으로 2만원 증액 지원하고 16세부터 18세 청소년은 연 60만원을 지속 지원한다.
군은 학기 초인 3월, 8세~13세에 해당하는 신규대상자에 대해 관내 초 중학교의 협조를 받아 신청서를 일괄 접수했으며 기존가입자와 신규신청자를 포함해 5300여명에게 바우처 포인트가 충전되어 27일부터 사용가능할 예정이다.
학교 밖 청소년이거나 단체신청을 놓친 경우에는 보호자의 동의를 받은 신청서와 신분증을 지참해 주소지 읍 면 행정복지센터를 방문해 연중 신청할 수 있다.
신순화 인구교육과장은 "이번 바우처 확대를 통해 더 많은 청소년이 다양한 활동을 경험하고 성장하는 데 도움이 되길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 청소년들이 스스로 꿈을 키워갈 수 있도록 계속 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
한편 거창군 청소년 꿈키움 바우처는 연내 12월 15일까지 사용이 가능하며 미사용 포인트는 자동소멸된다.
