【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청은 한국발명진흥회가 주관한 <2025년 우수 발명교육센터> 심사에서 충주교육지원청 발명교육센터(충주삼원초)가 최종 선정돼 지식재산처장상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
이번 심사는 전국 207개 발명교육센터를 대상으로 교육 운영 실적, 활성화 기여도, 교원 전문성 등을 종합 평가해 진행됐으며, 12개 센터가 최종 선정됐다.
충북에서는 충주교육지원청 발명교육센터가 선정되어 지식재산처장상과 인증 현판이 수여되고, 담당 교원에게는 해외연수 기회가 제공된다.
충주교육지원청 발명교육센터는 발명 정규과정과 영재교육원(발명), 대한민국 학생창의력 챔피언대회 충북예선, 충주발명꿈나무잔치 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영해 왔다.
특히 교사학습공동체 연구 활동과 충주시 창의융합 FESTA 운영 등 지역 연계 활동을 통해 발명교육 활성화에 기여한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.
김영순 창의특수교육과장은 “충북의 모든 학생이 상상력을 현실로 구현하는 발명교육을 통해 창의융합형 인재로 성장하길 기대한다.”라며 “정규 교육과정과 연계를 강화하고 지역 특색을 반영한 다양한 교육 모델을 지속적으로 발굴·지원하겠다.”라고 말했다.
