브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 쿠팡로지스틱스서비스(CLS)는 최근 경기 의정부의 아동복지시설 ‘이삭의집’을 찾아 기부와 봉사활동을 진행했다고 24일 밝혔다.
‘이삭의집’은 인근 지역의 보육시설이 없어 입소가 어려운 원아들도 함께 하면서 다른 시설보다 많은 50여명이 생활하고 있다. 원아수가 많을수록 더 많은 지원의 손길이 필요하지만 노후된 가전과 가구에 손길이 미치지 못했다.
CLS는 ‘로켓설치’를 통해 전문가들이 직접 냉장고 4대, 교육용 컴퓨터 세트 10대, 4개의 서랍장 등 노후 가전과 가구를 설치했다. 단순히 기부에 그치지 않고, 지난 18일 CLS 홍용준 대표와 직원 등 CLS 희망봉사단 20여명은 ‘이삭의집’을 방문해 학생들의 체육활동 안전을 위해 실외 운동장 웅덩이 메우기 등 운동장 평탄화 작업과 시설 청소 등 봉사활동도 진행했다.
양로원, 보육원, 미혼모 시설 등에서 사회공헌을 진행해온 CLS가 올해 첫 사회 공헌 장소로 아동복지시설을 선택한 것은 2024년부터 사회공헌 활동을 해온 ‘우리집’ 관계자의 감사편지 영향이 컸다.
CLS는 2024년과 2025년 아동보육시설 ‘우리집’에 개인 학습용 책상과 의자, 식당 테이블과 의자, 쇼파 등을 기부하고 도배 봉사도 진행했다.
‘우리집’과 같은 작은 변화가 다른 아동복지시설에도 이어질 수 있도록 CLS는 노후 가전과 가구 교체 등이 필요한 ‘이삭의집’을 찾게 됐다.
