신천지자원봉사단 강서지부는 최근 기온 변화로 낙엽이 쌓이면서 배수로 막힘이 발생할 수 있어 사전 정비 차원에서 활동이 진행됐다고 설명했다. 보행로 주변 환경 정비는 보행 안전과도 연관된다는 점에서 필요성이 있다고 밝혔다. 이번 ‘자연아 푸르자’ 환경정화 활동은 지역 환경을 가꾸는 시민 참여형 봉사활동이라는 점에도 목표를 두고 진행했다고 덧붙였다.
