남동구, 주거급여 수선유지급여 추진

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 24일, 주거 취약계층의 주거환경 개선과 주거 안전망 강화를 위해 2026년 주거급여 수선유지급여사업을 본격 추진한다고  밝혔다.

남동구에 따르면, 구는 이를 위해 최근 한국토지주택공사(LH) 인천지역본부와 2026년 주거급여 수선유지급여사업 위·수탁 협약을 체결하고, 사업의 효율적이고 체계적인 추진을 위한 협력체계를 구축했다.

주거급여 수선유지급여사업은 기준 중위소득 48% 이하의 기초주거급여 자가 수급자 가구를 대상으로 주택 개·보수를 지원하는 사업으로, 주거환경이 열악한 저소득 자가 가구의 주거 수준 향상을 목적으로 한다.

올해 사업 규모는 총 22억 원으로, 총 288가구를 대상으로 추진된다. 세부적으로는 경보수 214가구, 중보수 68가구, 대보수 6가구를 지원할 계획이다.

지원 내용은 주택 노후도에 따라 차등 적용되며, 경보수는 가구당 최대 590만 원(도배, 장판, 창호 등), 중보수는 최대 1,095만 원(창호, 단열, 난방공사 등), 대보수는 최대 1,601만 원(지붕, 욕실 및 주방 개량 등)까지 지원한다.

남동구는 이번 사업을 통해 자가 주택에 거주하는 주거급여 수급자의 주거 안전성과 생활 편의성을 높이고, 주택 노후도에 따른 맞춤형 지원으로 실질적인 주거복지 체감도를 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.

남동구 관계자는 “주거 지원이 필요한 주거 취약세대의 주거 안전망 구축을 위해 다양한 방법을 마련하겠다”며, “앞으로도 실질적인 주거복지 향상을 위해 지속해서 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
