대전 서구갑을 지역구로 둔 더불어민주당 장종태 국회의원이 첨단 인공지능(AI)과 디지털 기술을 접목해 지역 복지 체계를 근본적으로 혁신하는 ‘복지 대전환’ 비전을 선포했다.
장 의원이 제시한 비전의 핵심은 정보 부족으로 복지 혜택을 놓치는 일이 없도록 만드는 ‘AI 시민비서’ 시스템이다.
이 시스템은 개인의 연령, 소득, 가구 형태 등을 정밀 분석해 개인이 받을 수 있는 보조금이나 지원책을 자동으로 매칭하고 신청까지 돕는다. 공급자 중심의 복지 행정을 수요자 중심의 선제적 행정으로 바꾸겠다는 취지다.
