【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군 단성면은 봄철을 맞아 쾌적하고 깨끗한 생활환경 조성을 위한 새봄맞이 국토대청결운동을 실시했다고 23일 밝혔다.
이번 국토대청결운동은 겨우내 방치된 각종 쓰레기를 정비하고, 봄철을 맞아 주민과 방문객들에게 깨끗한 지역 이미지를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
특히 단성면 충혼탑에서 신라적성비 구간을 중심으로 사적지 환경을 정비하고, 호국영령을 기리는 의미를 담아 도로변과 환경 취약지역을 집중 정비했다.
이날 행사에는 단성면 이장협의회를 비롯한 지역 기관·단체, 단성면 직원, 주민 등 100여 명이 참여해 생활쓰레기와 불법 투기 쓰레기를 수거하며 구슬땀을 흘렸다.
참여자들은 충혼탑 구역과 신라적성비 구역으로 나눠 도로변과 하천 주변을 꼼꼼히 정비하며 깨끗한 단성면 만들기에 힘을 보탰다.
