【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 24일 H&A 스마트팜과 그린에너지 스마트농업타운 대상지 일원에서 충청북도교육청과 함께 지역 교육발전 방향과 미래 인재 양성 협력방안을 모색하기 위한 정책간담회를 열고 공동협약을 체결했다.
이날 간담회에는 장기봉 음성부군수와 윤건영 충청북도교육감을 비롯해 안병권 음성교육지원청 교육장, 충청북도의회 관계자, 공무원 등이 참석해 미래농업 분야 인재 육성 방안 등 지역 교육 현안에 대해 다양한 의견을 교환했다.
이번 간담회는 기존 회의실 중심의 형식에서 벗어나 스마트농업 산업 현장을 직접 방문하는 방식으로 진행됐다. 이에 따라 참석자들은 먼저 감곡면에 위치한 H&A 스마트팜을 방문해 자동화 설비 시스템을 체험하고 지역 산업과 교육의 연계 가능성을 현장에서 직접 확인했다.
H&A 스마트팜은 토지면적 2만1034㎡, 유리온실 1만6727㎡ 규모의 첨단 시설로, 자동화 시스템을 기반으로 연간 500톤의 프리미엄 유럽형 채소를 안정적으로 생산하며 스마트농업을 선도하고 있다.
이날 음성군과 충청북도교육청은 음성군이 4,873억 원을 투입해 2033년까지 조성할 예정인 ‘그린에너지 스마트농업타운’과 연계해 스마트농업 인재를 체계적으로 육성하기 위한 ‘스마트농업 지역 인재양성을 위한 공동협력 협약’도 체결했다.

군은 이번 간담회와 업무협약을 계기로 스마트농업 인재 양성을 위한 협력 체계를 본격화하고, 그린에너지 스마트농업타운 사업과 연계한 교육·실습 여건 조성 및 관련 협력사업을 교육청과 함께 단계적으로 발굴·추진해 나갈 계획이다.
장기봉 음성부군수는 “이번 간담회와 협약은 스마트농업 산업과 교육을 연계한 인재 양성 방향을 현장에서 함께 고민한 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 그린에너지 스마트농업타운 조성과 연계해 지역 산업과 교육이 선순환하는 기반을 탄탄히 마련해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
윤건영 충청북도교육감은 “미래 농업을 이끌 스마트농업 분야는 교육과 산업이 융합된 인재 양성이 무엇보다 중요한 분야”라며 “학교 교육과 현장 실습을 연계해 산업 현장에서 요구하는 실무형 인재를 체계적으로 양성해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
