이번 사업은 거동이 불편하거나 복지 정보 접근에 어려움을 겪는 어르신들을 위해 마련된 현장 중심 복지서비스다.
덕산읍 맞춤형복지팀은 경로당을 방문해 △기초생활보장 △긴급복지 지원 △돌봄 서비스 등 각종 복지제도를 안내하고, 필요 시 현장에서 즉시 신청·연계까지 지원할 계획이다.
또한 △혈압·혈당 측정 등 기초 건강관리 △만성질환 상담 △복약 지도 등 건강 서비스도 함께 제공해 어르신들의 건강과 생활을 동시에 살피는 원스톱 지원을 추진한다.
특히 이번 사업은 덕산노인회분회와 협력해 추진된다.
경로당 김밥 나눔 봉사 일정에 맞춰 상담을 진행함으로써 어르신들이 더 편안한 분위기에서 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 했다.
강상훈 덕산읍장은 “주민이 찾아오기를 기다리는 복지가 아닌, 현장으로 직접 찾아가는 능동적 복지를 실현하겠다”며 “앞으로도 복지 사각지대 발굴과 촘촘한 지원 체계 구축에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
