【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군이 중소벤처기업부 주관 ‘2026년 시군구 연고산업 육성사업’의 일환으로 묘목산업 및 전후방산업 고도화를 위한 참여기업을 모집한다.
옥천군은 지난해 1차년도 사업을 통해 관내 묘목전후방산업 영위 기업 22개 사를 대상으로 총 33개 지원 프로그램을 운영했다. 그 결과 신규 고용 9명, 매출 약 7억 원의 경제적 성과를 창출했으며, 특허·인증 등 9건의 지식재산권을 확보했다. 또한 묘목 전문인력 양성을 위한 조경기능사 자격증 과정을 운영하여 총 52명 중 28명이 자격증을 취득하는 성과도 거두었다.
올해 2년 차 사업의 지원 규모는 총 약 4.2억 원으로, 총 32개건의 프로그램을 지원한다. 세부 프로그램은 ▲컨설팅 ▲해외판로 개척 ▲시제품 제작 ▲디자인 개선 및 제품 고급화 ▲시험분석 및 특허·인증 ▲홍보마케팅 ▲국내전시회 참가 ▲유망기업 패키지 지원 ▲생산성 향상지원 등이다. 선정된 기업은 최대 5,000만 원 한도 내에서 2개 프로그램까지 복수 신청할 수 있다.
이와 관련하여 옥천군과 충북테크노파크는 지난 24일(화) 전략산업클러스터센터 2층 대회의실(옥천읍 의료단지길 60)에서 사업설명회를 개최하고, 세부 지원 내용과 신청 방법 등을 안내했다.
사업 신청은 오는 4월 13일부터 4월 17일 18시까지 중소기업기술개발사업 종합관리시스템을 통해 온라인으로 접수하면 된다.
군 관계자는 “지난해 추진한 1차년도 사업을 통해 묘목산업을 단순 생산 중심에서 벗어나 기술·시장이 연계된 산업으로 고도화하고 있다"며 "앞으로도 묘목전후방산업 육성을 통해 지역경제 활성화와 인구소멸 대응에 기여하겠다"고 말했다.
