대전 중구가 최근 제기된 종량제봉투 품귀 우려에 대해 재고량이 충분하다며 구민들의 차분한 소비를 당부했다. 아울러 유통 시장 교란을 막기 위해 지정 판매소를 대상으로 한 특별 점검에 나선다.

구는 인위적인 공급 왜곡을 차단하고자 오는 4월 한 달간 관내 종량제봉투 지정 판매소를 대상으로 매점매석 및 판매 기피 행위, 지정 가격을 초과한 부당 인상, 기타 유통 질서 저해 행위 등 대대적인 현장 점검을 펼친다.
점검 과정에서 고의적인 부정 유통이나 매점매석 등 위법 행위가 적발되는 판매소에 대해서는 관련 규정에 의거해 판매소 지정 취소 등 엄격한 행정조치를 취할 방침이다.
