【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 괴산군은 오는 4월부터 괴산군립도서관에서 영유아, 임신부, 양육자, 시니어 등 전 세대를 대상으로 2026년 북스타트(Book Start) 프로그램을 본격 운영한다고 25일 밝혔다.
북스타트는 영유아부터 시니어까지 전 연령에 걸쳐 독서 문화를 형성할 수 있도록 지원하는 프로그램이다.
‘그림책’을 테마로 △책꾸러미 배부 △그림책 잇다 큐레이션 꾸러미 대출 △그림책 연계 부모교육 △유아 대상 책놀이 등 총 4개 분야로 진행된다.
군은 4월 10일부터 관내 거주하는 영유아와 임신부를 대상으로 조기 독서 습관 형성과 임신부의 독서 태교를 돕기 위해 그림책 2권이 담긴 책꾸러미를 선착순 배부한다.
생애주기별 맞춤형 그림책 5권을 담은 ‘그림책 잇다’ 큐레이션 꾸러미 대출 서비스도 운영한다.
세대별 관심사와 정서적 특성을 반영한 그림책을 통해 독서 접근성을 높이고 책과 친숙해질 수 있도록 지원할 예정이다.
4월 11일부터 25일까지 매주 토요일(총 3회) 양육자를 위한 ‘마음을 읽는 그림책 이야기’를 진행해 부모의 공감 능력과 양육 역량 강화를 돕는다.
6~7세 유아 대상 책놀이 프로그램 ‘마음 쑥쑥 그림책 놀이터’는 6월 10일부터 7월 29일까지 매주 수요일(총 8회) 운영한다.
그림책 읽기와 만들기 활동을 연계한 놀이 중심 프로그램을 통해 유아의 상상력과 정서 발달을 돕는 데 중점을 둘 예정이다.
