NPO 신청은 까다로운 서류 절차 때문에 번거롭고,
몰타에서 변호사를 이용하면 추가 비용까지 발생한다.
일단 신청은 했지만, 되면 좋고 안 돼도 그만이라는 마음이다.
오리가미를 만들기 위해서는 종이와 액자 등 여러 재료가 필요하고,
대상이 한두 명이 아니기에 실제로 적지 않은 비용이 들어간다.
일본에서 직접 사 오거나,
가져다 준 사람에게 식사를 대접하기도 하고,
때로는 유럽의 다른 나라까지 가서 재료를 구하기도 한다.
그러나 역시 일본 제품이 아니면 여러 번 접을 때 쉽게 찢어지는 경우가 많다.
이러한 일들이 온전히 나 자신을 위한 것이 아니다 보니,
때로는 식사조차 거르는 일이 잦다.
그럼에도 오늘은 바게트에 치즈와 토마토,
오이를 넣어 간단한 샌드위치를 만들어 먹었다.
삶이 반드시 행복만을 추구하는 것은 아니지만,
보람을 찾기 위해 노력하는 과정에서도
결국 돈이 필요하다는 사실 앞에서 여러 가지 생각이 든다.
그리고 하나의 질문에 이르게 된다. 나는 무엇을 위해 사는가.

Whether it is approved or not doesn't matter much to me.
Creating origami requires materials such as paper and frames,
And since it is not just one or two people,
the overall cost becomes quite significant. Sometimes
I bring materials from Japan, treat those who help me to meals,
or even travel to other European countries to purchase them.
However, unless the paper is from Japan,
it often tears after being folded multiple times.
Because these efforts are not entirely for myself, there are times when
I even skip meals. Still, today I made a simple sandwich with a baguette,
cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
Life is not necessarily about pursuing happiness,
but even in striving to find meaning,
one inevitably faces the reality that it requires money.
And in the end, it leads me to a fundamental question: what am I living for?
NPOの申請は書類が煩雑で手間がかかり、
マルタで弁護士に依頼すればさらに費用がかかる。
とりあえず申請はしたが、通れば良し、通らなくても構わないという気持ちでいる。
折り紙を作るには紙や額などの材料が必要であり
、対象が一人や二人ではないため、実際にはかなりの費用がかかる。
日本から持ってきたり、持ってきてくれた人に食事をご馳走したり、
時にはヨーロッパの他の国まで買いに行くこともある。
しかしやはり日本製でなければ、何度も折るうちに破れてしまうことが多い。
こうしたことは自分のためだけではないため、
時には食事を抜くこともある。それでも今日は、
バゲットにチーズやトマト、きゅうりを挟んで簡単なサンドイッチを作って食べた。
人生は必ずしも幸福を追い求めるものではないが、
生きがいを見つけようとする中でも、結局はお金が必要だという現実に直面する。
そして最後に残るのは一つの問いである。自分は何のために生きているのか。
