<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천시보건소가 ‘제16회 결핵예방의 날’을 맞이해 지난 25일 인파가 몰리는 포천 5일장에서 지역 주민들을 대상으로 대대적인 결핵 및 감염병 예방 캠페인을 성공적으로 실시했다.
이번 캠페인은 시민들의 건강한 일상 회복을 돕기 위해 결핵 예방수칙을 핵심으로 하되, 실생활에서 필요한 각종 감염병 예방수칙을 다방면으로 홍보하고자 선제적으로 마련됐다.
보건소 측은 이날 5일장을 찾은 주민들에게 ▲2주 이상 기침 시 결핵 검진 권장 ▲기침할 때 옷소매로 입과 코 가리기 ▲65세 이상 어르신 연 1회 무료 검진 등 필수적인 결핵 예방수칙을 집중적으로 안내했다. 이와 더불어 올바른 손 씻기 실천, 말라리아 및 진드기 매개 감염병 예방수칙 홍보는 물론, 최근 사회적 문제로 대두되는 마약류 및 의약품 오남용 예방 교육까지 병행해 시민들의 올바른 생활 습관 형성을 적극적으로 도왔다.
