(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 계양구가 지역의 대표 관광 명소인 ‘계양아라온’과 독립운동의 정신이 깃든 ‘황어장터 3․1만세운동 역사문화센터’를 잇는 접근성 개선 사업을 본격 추진하며, 역사와 일상이 조화를 이루는 도시 환경 조성에 속도를 내고 있다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 이번 사업은 단순한 환경 정비를 넘어 보행 환경 개선과 관광 동선 연결을 통해 지역 관광 자원의 가치를 극대화하고, 나아가 지역 상권 활성화 유도를 위한 프로젝트의 시작이다.
○ 계양아라온~황어장터 3․1만세운동 역사문화센터 ‘접근성 개선 사업’
계양구는 지난 2월부터 ‘계양아라온’ 북단에서 ‘황어장터 3․1만세운동 역사문화센터’에 이르는 약 500m 구간을 대상으로 접근성 개선 사업을 추진했다.
주요 사업 내용으로, 계양아라온 북단에서 황어장터 역사문화센터까지 이어지는 보행 구간에 ‘바닥 유도선’을 설치했다.
