<브레이크뉴스 영월 = 김일웅 기자> (재)영월문화관광재단 문화도시센터가 지역의 소중한 산업유산을 시민들이 직접 기록하고 콘텐츠로 확산하는 ‘MINE 1935 프로젝트’의 닻을 본격적으로 올렸다.
영월문화관광재단은 지난 20일 역전충전소에서 ‘MINE 1935 프로젝트 출범식’과 문화도시 영월 ‘SNS 크리에이터 오리엔테이션’을 통합 개최했다고 26일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 지역 산업유산을 시민이 주도적으로 기록하는 아카이브 사업과, 이를 흥미로운 콘텐츠로 재해석해 널리 알리는 SNS 활동을 하나의 유기적인 흐름으로 연결했다는 점에서 큰 의미를 갖는다.
‘MINE 1935 프로젝트’는 영월광업소가 처음 문을 연 1935년을 상징하는 명칭으로, 광산을 중심으로 융성했던 지역 산업유산의 기억을 주민들의 적극적인 참여를 통해 생생하게 기록하고 이를 미래 세대에게 온전히 전승하기 위해 기획됐다. 특히 기존 교육 위주의 ‘시민기록단 양성 과정’을 실제 기록 생산 단계로 한 차원 끌어올려 프로젝트로 전면 재편했다.
