충북영산재보존계승연구회, 오는 29일 증평문화회관 ‘영산재’시연

【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=호국영령과 충북도민 안녕을 기원하는 ‘제23회 영산재’시연 행사가 오는 29일 오후 2시 증평문화회관에서 열린다.

충북영산재보존계승연구회가 주최하는 이번 행사는 전통 의식 시연과 문화 공연을 결합해 도민이 함께 참여하는 화합의 장으로 꾸며진다.

1부에서는 전통 절차에 따른 영산재가 재현되며, 범패와 의식무 등 불교 예술 요소가 어우러진 장엄한 무대를 선보일 예정이다.

이어지는 2부에서는 초대가수 공연이 마련돼 축제 분위기를 더한다. 

가수 김다현, 진소리, 선미가 무대에 올라 다양한 장르의 공연을 선보이며 도민 화합의 시간을 만든다.

군 관계자는 “세계적으로 인정받은 전통 불교의식인 영산재를 지역에서 직접 접할 수 있는 뜻깊은 행사”라며 “전통문화의 가치와 의미를 공유하고 도민이 함께 어울리는 화합의 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

한편, 영산재는 석가모니불이 영취산에서 설법하던 ‘영산회상’을 상징화한 의식으로, 1973년 국가무형유산으로 지정된 데 이어 2009년 유네스코 인류무형문화유산으로 등재된 세계적인 문화유산이다.
