2025회계연도 결산검사는 3월 31일부터 4월 17일까지 18일간 진행되며 제천시 일반 및 특별회계 세입·세출 결산을 비롯해 계속비·이월사업비, 채권·채무, 공유재산 및 기금 등 전반에 대해 실시한다.
박영기 의장은 위촉식에서 “결산검사는 시 재정 운영의 건전성과 투명성을 확보하기 위한 중요한 과정”이라며 “전문성과 경험을 바탕으로 시민의 소중한 세금이 적정하게 사용됐는지 면밀히 살펴봐 달라”고 당부했다.
2025회계연도 결산 검사 결과는 오는 6월 열리는 제천시의회 제1차 정례회에서 승인 절차를 거쳐 시민들에게 공개될 예정이다.
