<브레이크뉴스 평창 = 김일웅 기자> 강원특별자치도옥외광고협회 평창군지부가 지역의 미래를 밝힐 학생들을 위해 따뜻한 나눔의 손길을 전하며 지역사회의 귀감이 되고 있다.
평창군은 27일 강원특별자치도옥외광고협회 평창군지부가 (재)평창인재육성장학재단에 장학기금 100만 원을 전격 기탁했다고 밝혔다.
옥외광고협회 평창군지부는 평소 지역 내 쾌적하고 건전한 옥외광고 문화 정착에 앞장서는 한편, 지난 2015년부터 단 한 해도 거르지 않고 꾸준히 장학금을 쾌척하며 지역사회를 향한 묵묵한 사회 환원을 실천해 온 대표적인 단체다.

이번 장학금 기탁 역시 경제적으로 어려운 환경 속에서도 학업에 매진하는 평창의 든든한 꿈나무들에게 작은 희망의 보탬이 되고자 회원들이 십시일반 정성을 모아 마련한 것으로 알려져 훈훈함을 더하고 있다.
남영기 지부장은 “우리 지역 학생들을 향한 지역사회의 애정 어린 관심이야말로 우리가 반드시 지켜나가야 할 가장 소중한 가치”라며, “앞으로도 평창의 훌륭한 인재를 발굴하고 육성하기 위한 뜻깊은 사회공헌활동을 변함없이 이어가겠다”고 굳은 의지를 밝혔다.
이에 (재)평창인재육성장학재단 관계자는 “오랜 시간 동안 변치 않는 애정으로 평창 학생들의 든든한 버팀목이 되어주신 협회 측에 깊이 감사드린다”며, “기탁해 주신 소중한 장학금은 우리 학생들이 더 밝고 희망찬 내일을 설계하는 데 귀하게 사용하겠다”고 화답했다.
