성주군, 천안서 ‘성주참외’ 홍보·판촉 행사 개최

성주군과 성주조합공동사업법인은 지난 27일 충남 천안시 로컬푸드직매장에서 ‘2026년 성주참외 홍보 및 판촉 행사’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 천안 지역 소비자들에게 갓 수확한 고품질 성주참외를 선보이기 위해 마련됐다. 행사장에는 시식 코너가 운영돼 방문객들이 성주참외 특유의 아삭한 식감과 높은 당도를 직접 체험하고, 합리적인 가격에 구매할 수 있도록 했다.

성주군은 이번 행사를 단순 판매를 넘어 대한민국 대표 과일로서 ‘성주참외’ 브랜드 입지를 더욱 공고히 하는 계기로 삼는다는 계획이다.

성주군 관계자는 “천안 지역 소비자들에게 성주참외의 신선함과 우수성을 직접 알릴 수 있는 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 전국 로컬푸드 직매장과 대형 유통망과의 협력을 통해 홍보와 판촉 행사를 확대하고, 농가 소득 증대로 이어질 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

This event was organized to showcase freshly harvested, high-quality Seongju Chamoe to consumers in the Cheonan region. A tasting corner was set up at the venue, allowing visitors to experience the melon's distinctive crisp texture and high sugar content firsthand and purchase it at a reasonable price.
