이번 조치로 기존의 전화나 방문 신청 외에도 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 간편하게 서비스를 예약할 수 있게 됐다. 신청 내역은 해당 어린이집으로 즉시 전달되며 승인 후 바로 이용이 가능하다. 다만 온라인 이용이 어려운 가정을 위해 기존 방식도 병행 운영된다.
현재 경기도 내 13개 시군에서 15개소가 운영되고 있는 언제나 어린이집은 365일 24시간 긴급 및 일시 보육을 제공하는 시설이다. 경기도 거주자 중 6개월 이상에서 7세 이하의 취학 전 아동을 둔 보호자라면 누구나 이용할 수 있으며 이용 요금은 시간당 3000원이다.
