충청광역연합의회, 2025회계연도 결산검사 착수…

충청광역연합의회(이하 의회)가 2025회계연도 예산 집행의 적정성을 살피기 위한 본격적인 결산 검사 일정에 돌입했다.

의회는 30일 오전 의회 접견실에서 ‘2025회계연도 결산검사위원 위촉식’을 개최하고, 전문가들로 구성된 위원들에게 위촉장을 수여했다고 밝혔다.

이번 결산검사위원은 충청광역연합의회 김광운·안경자 의원을 포함해 세무사, 회계사, 전직 공무원 등 실무 경험과 전문 지식을 두루 갖춘 외부 전문가 등 총 7명으로 구성됐다.

위촉식 직후 열린 첫 회의에서는 위원들 간 호선을 통해 대표위원을 선출했으며, 향후 진행될 구체적인 검사 방향과 세부 일정을 공유하며 철저한 검토를 다짐했다.

결산 검사는 3월 30일부터 4월 10일까지 총 12일간 진행된다. 

위원들은 2025회계연도 세입·세출 결산, 재무제표, 성과보고서 등을 면밀히 검토할 예정이다. 특히 예산이 당초 목적에 맞게 효율적으로 집행되었는지와 예산 낭비 사례는 없었는지를 집중적으로 점검해 재정 운영의 건전성을 확인한다.

노금식 의장은 "결산은 예산이라는 소중한 자원이 현장에서 얼마나 실효성 있게 쓰였는지 확인하는 준엄한 과정"이라며 "위원들의 날카로운 시선과 전문성을 바탕으로 충청광역연합의 재정이 건강하게 운영될 수 있도록 꼼꼼히 살펴달라"고 당부했다.

이번 결산검사 결과는 향후 제9회 전국동시지방선거를 통해 새롭게 구성될 제2대 의회 일정에 맞춰 처리된다. 올해 하반기에 열릴 첫 정례회에서 최종 승인 절차를 거쳐 확정될 예정이다.
