【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시는 지역 핵심 전략산업인 한방천연물산업의 체계적인 육성과 미래 경쟁력 확보를 위해 「2035 제천한방천연물산업 중장기 기본계획 수립 용역 최종보고회」를 지난 27일 제천시청 박달재실에서 개최했다.
이번 최종보고회는 지난 중간보고회에서 제시된 의견을 반영해 산업 발전 전략과 핵심 사업을 구체화하고, 실행가능한 단계별 추진 계획을 최종 점검하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 보고회에는 최승환 제천시장 권한대행을 비롯해 박영기 시의회 의장과 시의원, 관계 공무원과 유관기관 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 최종보고와 함께 질의응답 및 종합 논의가 진행됐다.
최종보고에서는 제천 한방천연물산업의 현황과 여건 분석을 토대로 설정된 2035 비전과 목표를 중심으로, 연구개발, 생산, 유통과 판로, 사업화 등 산업 전 주기에 걸친 발전 전략과 핵심 사업이 제시되었다.
특히 제천시의 지역자원과 기존 인프라를 기반으로 한 차별화 전략과 함께, 산업 고도화 및 지속가능한 성장 기반 마련을 위한 실행 중심의 정책 방향이 강조됐다.
