【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 지난 27일 삼성면 소재 유흥업소와 청소년 유해업소를 대상으로 ‘성매매 방지 및 청소년 유해환경 민·관·경 합동 지도점검’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 합동점검에는 여성친화도시 군민참여단(단장 황기용)을 비롯해 음성군청 가족친화팀·청소년팀, 음성경찰서 범죄예방계·여성청소년계가 참여했다.
점검반은 △성매매 방지 게시물 부착 여부 점검 △청소년 고용 및 출입금지 표시 △술·담배 판매금지 표시 의무 등을 중점 점검했다.
이날 성매매 근절에 대한 사회적 인식을 높이고, 청소년 유해업소와 유해환경에 대한 점검을 병행해 아동·청소년이 더욱 안전하고 건강하게 성장할 수 있는 지역사회 분위기 조성에 힘썼다.
황기용 여성친화도시 군민참여단장은 “지속적인 현장점검과 유해환경 예방 활동을 통해 아동·청소년이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 환경을 조성하겠다”며 “지역 내 성매매 근절 분위기를 확산시키고 성 평등한 지역사회를 만드는 데 힘을 보태겠다”고 말했다.
군 관계자는 “성매매와 성 착취 등 불법 행위를 근절하고 청소년 유해환경을 차단하는 일은 지역사회 모두의 관심과 노력이 필요한 사안”이라며 “민·관·경이 함께 힘을 모아 안전하고 성 평등한 군을 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 군은 여성안심길 조성, 여성안전 실무협의체 운영 등 다양한 정책을 통해 여성이 안전하고 주민 모두가 존중받는 지역사회 조성에 힘쓰고 있다.
