이춘희 더불어민주당 세종시장 예비후보가 장애인 복지 현안을 직접 듣는 정책 간담회에 나섰다. 선거 국면에서 상징적 약속을 앞세우기보다, 일자리와 돌봄, 자립생활처럼 생활 밀착형 과제를 중심에 놓고 현장 의견을 수렴하는 데 무게를 둔 행보다.

이 예비후보는 30일 세종시 장애인단체연합회 사무실에서 열린 정책 제안 간담회에 참석해 지역 장애인 단체장과 실무자들을 만났다. 이 자리에서 그는 세종시 출범 과정에서 유니버설 디자인 개념을 도입했던 점과 재임 시절 장애인 정책 확대 성과를 언급하며, 2014년 109억 원이던 관련 예산이 2022년 430억 원까지 늘었다고 강조했다.
