【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=김대권 수성구청장 예비후보가 31일 ‘교육은 더 넓게, 복지는 더 촘촘하게’라는 슬로건을 내걸고, 학교 밖 교육 고도화와 AI 기반 인재 양성, 권역별 복지 인프라 확충 등 사람 중심의 정책 비전을 공개했다.
김 예비후보는 교육 분야에서 ‘또다른 학교’ 프로그램을 한 단계 더 발전시키고, 고교학점제와의 연계도 확대하겠다고 밝혔다. 또 AI를 기반으로 한 미래 인재를 키우고, IB 교육 지원 등 다양한 방안을 통해 수성구 교육의 경쟁력을 적극 강화할 계획이라고 강조했다.
복지 분야에서는 지산·범물·범어·만촌 등 권역별 종합사회복지관 확충과 연호지구 복지 인프라 보강에 나선다는 방침이다. 이와 함께 민간 복지타운 유치, 빈집을 복지시설로 활용하는 방안도 제시하며 촘촘한 복지망 구축 의지를 드러냈다.
돌봄 공백을 해소하기 위해서는 휴일·야간 어린이집과 달빛어린이병원 도입을 추진하겠다고 말했다. 어르신, 국가유공자, 장애인 등이 상황에 맞는 맞춤형 지원을 받을 수 있도록 정책도 강화한다는 계획이다.
장애인의 자립을 돕기 위해 스마트 농업과 이끼 생산기술을 접목한 새로운 일자리 모델을 도입하고, 장애인 체육회 설립도 적극 추진한다. 또한 1인 가구 증가에 대응한 사회적 고립 예방 체계 구축, 노인지회 신설, 보훈회관 신축 등 복지 인프라 확충도 공약에 포함됐다.
