【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국장학재단(이사장 박창달)은 교육부 및 전국 17개 시·도교육청과 함께 저소득층 가정 학생의 교육비 부담 완화를 위해 2026학년도 교육급여 바우처 신청을 받는다고 밝혔다.

신청 기간은 4월 1일부터 2027년 2월 28일까지로, 만 14세 이상 교육급여 수급 학생 본인 또는 보호자, 세대원이 교육급여 바우처 누리집을 통해 온라인으로 신청할 수 있다. 신청 시 간편인증이나 공동·금융인증서 등을 통한 본인 확인 절차가 필요하다.
교육급여 바우처는 교육활동지원비 명목으로 학생 1인당 연 1회 포인트 형태로 지급된다. 지원금은 전년 대비 약 3~12% 인상돼 초등학생 50만2천 원, 중학생 69만9천 원, 고등학생 86만 원이 각각 지급된다.
지급된 바우처는 카드 결제가 가능한 대부분의 업종에서 교육 관련 물품 및 서비스 구매에 사용할 수 있으며, 국내 주요 카드사와 간편결제 서비스 ‘페이코’를 통해 이용 가능하다. 신청자는 본인 명의의 신용·체크카드, 간편결제, 기명식 선불카드 중 하나를 선택해 포인트를 지급받게 된다.
