【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군청소년상담복지센터(센터장 윤은미)는 31일 증평중학교 전교생 420명을 대상으로 ‘학교폭력 예방 및 생명존중 인식개선 캠페인’을 실시했다.
이번 캠페인은 청소년 문제 예방을 위해 지역사회가 함께 참여하는 민관 협력 활동으로, 1388청소년지원단이 동참해 현장 중심의 예방 활동을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
행사는 학생들의 등굣길 현장에서 진행됐으며, 참여 학생들은 ‘생명나무 메시지 활동’을 통해 서로에게 전하는 응원 문구를 직접 작성하며 생명의 소중함과 배려의 가치를 자연스럽게 되새기는 시간을 가졌다.
또 청소년 도박 문제의 심각성을 알리기 위한 예방 사진 전시도 함께 운영돼, 일상에서 접할 수 있는 유해 환경의 위험성을 알리고 건강한 가치관 형성을 돕는 계기가 됐다.
윤은미 센터장은 “청소년 보호는 지역사회가 함께 만들어가는 공동의 과제”라며 “앞으로도 1388청소년지원단과 협력해 예방 중심의 활동을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 1388청소년지원단은 지역 주민이 자발적으로 참여해 위기청소년을 조기에 발굴하고 상담 및 복지서비스로 연계하는 민관 협력 안전망으로 지역 내 청소년 보호를 위한 다양한 지원 활동을 이어가고 있다.
