【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군자원봉사종합센터가 지역 봉사단체들이 함께 참여하는 ‘2026년 자원봉사 릴레이’ 활동을 본격적으로 추진하며 자원봉사 참여 확산에 나섰다.
이번 사업은 지역 내 자원봉사단체들이 릴레이 방식으로 봉사활동에 참여하며 단체별 활동성을 높이고 봉사단체 간 협력과 연대감을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
이를 통해 다양한 봉사활동을 지역사회에 널리 알리고 지속적인 자원봉사 참여 분위기를 확산하는 것이 목표다.
활동은 지난 3월부터 오는 10월까지 이어지며, 총 20개 봉사단체가 참여해 단체별 특성을 살린 고유 봉사활동과 지역 내 버스정류장 환경정화 활동을 함께 펼치고 있다.
참여 단체들은 사곡리와 용강리, 연탄리, 도안면 등 관리가 어려운 외곽 지역 정류장을 중심으로 쓰레기 수거와 주변 환경정비를 실시해 주민들에게 보다 쾌적한 대중교통 이용 환경을 제공하고 있다.
현재까지 △맑은물지킴이봉사회 △연꽃봉사회 △증평군여성단체협의회가 활동을 마쳤으며, △증평여성의용소방대 △새마을문고중앙회 증평군지부 △증평직장새마을협의회 △아이코리아 증평지회 △대한적십자봉사회 증평군협의회 등 지역 봉사단체들이 순차적으로 참여할 예정이다.
김남순 센터장은 “자원봉사 릴레이 활동은 지역 봉사단체들이 함께 참여해 공동체 가치를 실천하는 의미 있는 프로그램”이라며 “앞으로도 생활 속에서 체감할 수 있는 다양한 봉사활동을 통해 지역사회 환경 개선과 자원봉사 문화 확산에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
