【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=헤이그 특사로 널리 알려진 항일 독립운동의 선구자이자 진천 출신 독립운동가 보재 이상설 선생의 순국 109주기 추모행사가 31일 진천군 덕산읍에 위치한 숭렬사에서 엄숙히 거행됐다.
이번 행사는 (사)이상설선생기념사업회(이사장 장주식)가 주관하고 국가보훈부와 진천군이 후원했다.
현장에는 이재명 진천군의회 의장, 안진형 충북남부보훈지청장, 류윤걸 광복회 충북지부장, 김사명 진천교육장 등 각계 주요 인사와 지역 주민 등 100여 명이 참석해 선생의 숭고한 뜻을 기렸다.
