시는 공정하고 투명한 조직문화 정착을 위해 ‘2026년 청렴도 향상 종합대책’을 수립했다.

김진석 충주시장 권한대행 부시장 주재로 개최된 이날 공유회의에는 충주시의 실과소 부서장이 참석해 종합대책의 주요 내용과 추진 방향을 공유하고 실효성 확보를 위한 협력 방안을 논의했다.
종합대책은 ▲시민에게 신뢰받는 공직문화 확립 ▲공직사회 조직문화 개선 및 청렴의식 제고 ▲청렴 인프라 구축·운영 ▲부패요인 통제 강화 등 4대 추진전략을 중심으로 총 27개 세부 실천과제로 구성됐다.
시는 민·관 협력 기반의 청렴 활동 확대, 기관장이 함께하는 소통 프로그램 운영, 청렴교육 및 자기진단 강화, 청렴365 추진단 운영 등 실효성 있는 정책을 추진할 계획이다.
또한, 반복 지적되는 부패 취약 분야에 대해서는 사전 점검과 통제 기능을 강화해 실질적인 개선 효과를 끌어낼 방침이다.
김진석 권한대행은 “공직사회의 청렴은 선택이 아니라 의무이자 기본”이라며, “형식이 아닌 실천 중심의 정책으로 시민이 신뢰하는 행정을 만들겠다”고 말했다.
