경산시는 행정안전부가 지난 3월 31일 ‘품질·표준 관리 통합시스템’을 통해 발표한 ‘데이터 기반 행정 실태 점검 및 공공데이터 제공 운영 실태 평가’에서 2024년에 이어 2025년에도 우수 등급을 획득했다고 밝혔다.
해당 평가는 중앙행정기관과 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 전국 684개 기관을 대상으로 데이터 기반 행정 운영 수준을 종합적으로 점검하는 제도다. 경산시는 데이터 기반 행정 활성화에 관한 법률을 토대로 과학적 의사결정 체계를 구축하고, 민원 대응 속도 개선과 정책 반영 정밀도 향상 등 시민 체감형 성과를 창출하며 상위권 평가를 받았다.
특히 디지털정책과 데이터통계팀을 중심으로 전 부서가 협력해 자체 데이터 분석 체계를 구축한 점이 주효했다. 주요 성과로는 정보공개청구 및 국민신문고 민원 데이터에 대한 빅데이터 분석과 당직 민원 데이터 분석 등이 꼽힌다.
또한 범정부 데이터 분석 시스템과 함께 생성형 인공지능(GPT)을 활용한 민원 데이터 분석 자동화 및 정책 인사이트 도출을 통해 업무 효율성과 분석 정확도를 동시에 높이며 선도적인 데이터 행정을 구현했다.
경산시 관계자는 “2년 연속 우수기관 선정은 객관적 데이터를 기반으로 시민 요구를 반영하고 행정을 개선해 온 결과”라며 “앞으로도 데이터와 AI를 활용한 지능형 행정 도시 구현에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
