북구청소년회관은 13일부터 31일까지 북구 지역 내 중학교 9곳과 고등학교 8곳 등 총 17개 학교와 청소년 활동 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 1일 밝혔다.
이번 협약을 통해 북구청소년회관과 학교들은 청소년 프로그램 공동 개발과 운영, 체험·진로·문화 활동 연계, 참여 정보 공유, 시설 및 인적 자원 상호 활용 등 다양한 부분에서 협력할 계획이다.
향후 청소년회관과 각 학교는 진로체험 프로그램, 방과 후 활동, 주말 캠프 등 맞춤형 프로그램을 함께 기획·운영하고, 청소년들이 더 많이 참여할 수 있도록 협력 체계를 구축한다.
특히 이번 협약은 청소년 인구 감소와 활동 형태 변화로 수련시설 이용 수요가 줄어드는 상황에서 학교와 손잡고 참여 기반을 넓힐 필요성이 커진 데 따라 추진됐다.
이복우 북구청소년회관 관장은 “학교와의 협력을 통해 청소년들이 더 다양한 활동에 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 환경을 만들겠다”며, “변화하는 청소년들의 수요에 맞춰 다양한 프로그램을 꾸준히 확대해나가겠다”고 말했다.
