정 예비후보는 “이전까지는 청년을 붙잡는 정책이 많았다면, 앞으로는 청년이 선택하는 도시로 나아가야 한다”며 “청년이 중심이 되는 정책 구조를 만들겠다”고 말했다.
또한 “빈 점포를 활용한 창업 지원은 청년과 지역 상권을 함께 살릴 수 있는 방법”이라며 “산·학·관이 협력해 동구를 청년 일자리의 중심지로 만들겠다”고 덧붙였다.
