경제효과와 관련해선 국가숲길 유치와 체류형 관광체계 구축을 통해 연간 약 700억~1,500억 원의 경제효과와 80만~120만 명의 관광객 추가 유입, 500~1,000명 수준의 고용 창출을 기대한다고 밝혔다.
