[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 행정안전부가 주관한 2025년도 공공데이터 제공 운영과 데이터 기반 행정 평가에서 모두 ‘우수’ 등급을 획득했다고 2일 밝혔다.
시는 2025년 공공데이터 제공 운영 실태 평가와 데이터 기반 행정 실태 점검 평가에서 중앙·광역·기초를 포함한 전국 684개 기관 가운데 우수 등급을 받으며 경쟁력을 확인했다.
이로 인해 진주시는 공공데이터 제공 운영 실태 평가는 4년 연속 우수기관으로 선정됐으며, 데이터 기반 행정 평가에서도 3년 연속 우수 등급을 달성하는 성과를 거뒀다.
공공데이터 제공 평가는 데이터 품질과 개방 수준, 이용자 수요 반영, 활용 활성화 성과 등을 종합적으로 측정, 데이터 기반 행정 평가는 정책 추진 전반을 점검해 5단계 등급으로 평가하는 제도다.
진주시는 시민 수요를 반영한 데이터 개방 확대와 체계적인 품질 관리, 데이터 분석을 활용한 정책 추진 등에서 높은 평가를 받았으며, 강화된 평가 기준 속에서도 우수 등급을 유지했다.
특히 이번 평가는 정성지표 비중 확대와 평가 체계 세분화 등으로 기준이 강화된 가운데 진주시는 지속적인 데이터 행정 역량과 정책 추진 성과를 입증했다는 점에서 의미를 더했다.
