【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군은 새 학기를 맞아 겨울방학 기간 운행을 멈췄던 ‘오지거주 학생 행복교육 택시’의 1학기 운행을 시작했다고 밝혔다.
‘행복교육 택시’는 대중교통 이용이 어려운 지역에 거주하는 학생들의 등·하교를 지원하는 사업이다.
지원 대상은 옥천군에 주소를 둔 관내 고등학교 재학생으로, 학교 반경 2km 이상 지역에 거주하면서 ▲학습 활동 종료 후 대중교통 운행이 종료되는 경우 ▲대중교통 노선으로부터 도로상 거리가 1km 이상 떨어진 경우 ▲오전 7시 30분 이전 대중교통을 이용해야 정상 등교가 가능한 경우 등에 해당하는 학생이다. 단, 기숙사 입사생은 입·퇴교 시에 한해 지원된다.
