【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청은 2일 오후 2시, 도교육청 사랑관 세미나실에서 도내 중·남부권 중학교 자유학기제·진로연계교육 업무 담당 교사와 교육지원청 장학사 등 200여 명을 대상으로 <권역별 자유학기제·진로연계교육 업무담당자 연수>를 개최했다.
이번 연수는 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 자유학기제 운영 방향을 공유하고, 탐구 활동 중심의 교육과정 운영을 현장에서 실질적으로 구현할 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
특히 자유학기제와 진로연계교육을 전 학년으로 확대 운영하는 정책 변화에 따라 학교 현장의 이해도를 높이고 실행력을 강화하는 데 중점을 두었다.
연수에서는 <스스로 탐구하고 주도적으로 설계하는 교육>을 방향으로, 수업에서 배운 내용을 바탕으로 주제를 정하고 일상 속 문제를 탐구·해결하는 과정 중심의 탐구형 수업 모델을 공유했다.
이날 경기도 백운호수중학교 최진희 수석교사는 <생각의 힘을 키우는 자유학기제>를 주제로 탐구 중심 수업 사례를 공유하며, 질문과 탐색이 살아있는 수업 설계 방향을 제시했다.
이어 디지털 기술을 활용한 자유학기제·진로연계교육 운영 사례를 통해 학생 맞춤형 교육과 수업 혁신 방안을 함께 나눴다.
앞서 1일(수)에는 북부권(충주·제천·단양) 중학교 교사를 대상으로 학생수련원 제천분원 안전체험관에서 동일한 내용의 연수를 운영해 권역별 맞춤 지원을 병행했다.
충북교육청은 이번 연수를 시작으로 교육지원청과 협력한 현장 컨설팅과 맞춤형 연수를 지속적으로 운영해 학교 현장의 실천 역량을 높여 나갈 계획이다.
정문희 중등교육과장은 “탐구 중심의 자유학기제와 연속성 있는 진로연계교육을 통해 학생들이 스스로 질문하고 배움을 확장하며 자신의 진로를 설계해 나갈 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
