<브레이크뉴스 평창 = 김일웅 기자> 평창군시설관리공단이 출범 5주년을 맞아 다채로운 사회공헌활동을 펼치며 지난 발자취를 돌아보고 새로운 도약을 다짐했다.
평창군시설관리공단은 지난 1일 설립 5주년을 기념해 뜻깊은 기념식과 지역사회를 향한 따뜻한 봉사활동을 전개했다고 밝혔다.

이날 오전, 공단은 평창지역자활센터와 손잡고 관내 조손가정 및 다문화가정 아동 7가구를 위한 아침 도시락 배달에 나섰다. 최순철 이사장을 비롯한 직원들이 직접 각 가정을 방문해 정성이 담긴 도시락을 전달하고 아이들의 안부를 세심하게 살폈다.
이어 오전 10시 평창 치유의 숲 세미나실에서는 전 직원이 모인 가운데 설립 5주년 공식 기념식이 열렸다. 공단의 5년 역사를 담은 영상 시청과 함께, 전 직원이 한목소리로 '설립 5주년 다짐 선언문'을 낭독하며 안전·혁신·상생·신뢰의 핵심 가치를 가슴에 새겼다.

오후에도 나눔의 발걸음은 멈추지 않았다. 직원들은 홀로 지내시는 독거어르신 가정을 방문해 묵은 먼지를 털어내는 봄맞이 집안 청소와 이불 세탁 등 주거환경 개선 봉사활동에 구슬땀을 흘렸다.

또한, 공단은 5주년 연계 행사로 오는 3일 평창 치유의 숲 일원에서 평창군 산림과, 평창군산림조합과 함께 왕벚나무 100그루를 식재한다. 이를 통해 연간 약 660kg의 이산화탄소 흡수 효과는 물론, 아름다운 봄철 벚꽃 명소 조성에도 기여할 전망이다.
최순철 이사장은 “이번 5주년 행사는 공단이 지난 5년간 지역과 함께 성장해 왔음을 되새기고, 군민 곁에서 공공의 책임을 다하겠다는 굳은 의지의 표현”이라며, “앞으로도 군민들이 일상에서 체감할 수 있는 최상의 공공서비스를 제공하기 위해 전력을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
